The Live Class provides instructor guidance and assignment critiques for the New Masters Academy pre-recorded course Dynamic Gesture Drawing, originally taught by master draftsman Glenn Vilppu.
Over the course of the pre-recorded lectures, Glenn Vilppu will teach you a drawing approach rooted in the Renaissance tradition yet applicable today in the world of fine art, animation, and illustration.
This course will provide you with the real-time practice needed to take your figure drawings to new heights.
Format Each week, you will be asked to watch the video instruction from the pre-recorded course "Dynamic Gesture Drawing", complete the week's assignments, and turn them in 24-hours before class. Then, during Live Class, Michael will answer your questions and critique as many assignments as time allows.
Michael Siegel is a fine artist and instructor currently living in San Antonio, TX. Specializing in drawing and oil painting, Michael has been represented by galleries in New York, Amsterdam, and Santa Barbara, and has won numerous awards. As an instructor, Michael has taught painting, drawing, and anatomy for over 15 years to professionals in fine art, animation, and illustration. His teaching credits include LAAFA, The Art Students League of New York, and the Barcelona Academy of Art.
