- Class Name: Introduction to Still Life Painting with Catherine Bobkoski
- Description: Develop your painting and observation skills in this 8-week interactive class. Catherine Bobkoski will guide you through the fundamentals of painting still life in oil, beginning with an overview of basic procedure so you can approach your artwork with a clear, logical progression. Explore color mixing and paint application by painting a variety of interesting objects and materials, each with their own unique challenges. Catherine will guide you through observing and painting fruits and vegetables, patterned objects, glass and metal as well as flowers. Along the way, Catherine will provide critiques and helpful advice as you progress through the class.
- Day and Time: Mondays 3:30 pm-5:30 pm PT Starting August 9th 2021
- Duration: 8 Weeks
- Materials: Traditional oil painting materials (Download Materials List). Reference material will be provided.
