Join Student Ambassador of Craft Julie Miette for a 7-week Live Class dedicated to learning the craft. Whether you are getting started or have been studying for years, you will learn how to establish mastery-building habits, study effectively, nurture your personal practice, and start a meaningful, lifelong art journal.

Each week focuses on a specific aspect of studying art online, breaking down the learning process and providing tools you can apply to any lesson or project. Between sessions, we will host events with special guests to answer questions and expand the conversation.

Julie Miette is a French artist and designer whose illustrations, patterns, and ornamental designs draw from artistic tradition, with strong inspiration from the Arts and Crafts movement, Art Nouveau, and the natural world. After four years running her creative business and designing products for her brand Apolonnie, Julie chose to pursue formal art education at New Masters Academy in 2023, documenting her online learning experience on her YouTube channel, Julie Miette Art. She became NMA’s Student Ambassador of Craft in 2025, and was invited that same year to be the first resident artist at New Masters Village.
