Live video calls with your Live Class instructor
Every New Masters Academy subscription comes with access to interactive Live Classes at no additional cost. Live Classes offer an incredible opportunity to get assignment critiques, ask questions, and even earn official certificates of completion.
And now, you can meet face-to-face with your instructor to discuss your class progress, share your work with your peers, in the closest experience to Art School classes you can get – with Office Hours.
Office Hours are limited to a maximum of 15 students, so you can get the attention you need.
Office Hours are group video calls with Live Class instructors. They take place shortly before every Live Class. During Office Hours, you can interact face-to-face with your instructor in real-time and get guaranteed interaction.
In order to participate in Office Hours, you will need to purchase an Office Hours Pass for your chosen Live Class.
In order to provide an intimate learning experience, only 15 Office Hours Passes are available per class at most.
In order to attend Office Hours, first check to make sure the Live Class you are taking offers Office Hours by going here and clicking on the class you are interested in.
If Office Hours are available, you will see a link to purchase an Office Hours Pass for that class. Each class offers its own Office Hours, and you will need a separate pass for each class.
There are a limited number of Office Hours Passes available per class.
Remember, your Office Hours Pass is good for the entire term, and you can attend as many sessions as you want!
Once you purchase your Office Hours Pass, you will receive a link in your email before class starts where you can join the video call with your instructor. Depending on the class, the exact time and structure of Office Hours may be different.
Make sure you have a strong internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone for the best experience. You will not need to install any additional software. Just log into your nma.art account, follow the instructions in your email, and you'll be able to join!
